What will the exact procedure be?
Straight after signing your contract and confirming your offer with Move24, you will receive an email with all the important information required. It will also contain practical advice for the safe packaging of your moving goods. If you have any further queries, you can reach us via email or over the phone. During the preparation phase you will receive emails keeping you up to date with the details of your move.
Can I add items or services subsequently?
Do you have any additional goods to be transported? No problem. Please get in touch with customer care to get them added for you, allowing at least 48 hours prior to your move. We will be glad to help!
Can I change my moving date?
It is not a problem if are not yet sure of your moving date yet as you can book a “flexible date” with us. Please pay attention to the fact that once you have confirmed your final fixed date, any change may incur a fee since we will have finalised the order contractually with the moving team.
How does Move24 calculate my list of moving goods?
Based on past experience we estimate the volume of your move using a sophisticated calculator to create your inventory list. You will be supervised on the phone by one of our personal relocation professionals and together you will go through everything so you can get your individually created fixed price at the end.
At what time will the moving team arrive?
You can order a fixed time with us so you can decide when our movers will arrive. If you do not specify, we will let you know a few days in advance.
I need packaging material
We are happy to take care of that for you, and get it delivered to your door. Please let us know during the booking process, or later on you can send us an email to customer_uk@move24.co.uk or call our customer service hotline.
I need a parking ban, can I order that?
We can also organise parking bans for you at the time of booking or afterwards. Please note that these need to be ordered at least 10 days in advance of your move.
Which services are included in the fixed price offer?
The following services are included in your personal fixed price offer: The moving supplies and driver’s vehicle(s) incl. fuel; loading, unloading and transportation of your goods; transport insurance. If desired, additional services can also be booked. Your moving consultant will help you with this.
What payment options do I have?
The following payment options we make available to you: credit card, Paypal or invoice. Your invoice will be sent via e-mail about 1 day after your move.
Does a move on the weekend or at the end of the month cost more?
During weekends and at the end of the month, the number of moves we handle is particularly high. As our capacity of moving teams is not unlimited, it is recommended that you book with Move24 as soon as possible. This will ensure that you get the best price possible.
How many removal men will show up at my place?
There will be as many relocation men come as needed to make your move run as efficiently as possible. Move24 will review your inventory list in detail and calculate the required number of movers for your relocation.

During your move

Can I get the contact details of the relocation team?
We want to ensure your move is as stress-free as possible. Therefore, we take care of end-to-end communication. If there are any questions before or during the move, please contact your relocation supervisor from our service who will be there to assist you. We are in constant contact with our relocation teams who will be carrying out your move.
Can I ride in the van on moving day?
Unfortunately it is not possible for insurance reasons to ride with our relocation team in the van.
How exactly are my relocation goods insured?
Your fixed price offer includes basic insurance. There is also the possibility to purchase additional insurance if you are moving particularly valuable items. Please talk to your Move24 relocation experts about this.
